Best Cheap Web Hosting
Hostgator has got to be the best cheap web hosting services hands down. I have been using Hostgator myself for over a year. Thier service is excellent compared to other hosts. They are the largest for a reason and that reason is service.
There are hosts out there that will entice you will really low prices but then when it is time for you to ask a question or resolve a problem they are convieniently unavailible. I will not name name names but they might righm with one and twone or blue post. Do not use them, you will eventually get screwed.
GoDaddy is great for domain management, but please do not host with them for cheap web hosting. They use their own proprietary hosting software that is not compatible with third party maintenance or monitoring tools. If you are going to choose a web host you need to think about future needs.
Only choose a web host that uses CPanel and WHM as their management platform. Any and all third party programs are made to work with those platforms, choose something like GoDaddy and again you will get screwed if you want to use any third party monitoring tools in the future.
I have had the very pleasent opportunity of contacting Hostgator support on about 10 occasions. Some for gerneral questions, some for requests and some for emergency services. I have been extremely happy with all of my contact with them. You can use the live chat support, email support or live phone support. I have used both live chat and email support with very good results.
The live chat reps are very knowlegable and the email support is answered well before 24 hours in each case that I have used it. All in all, I would never use any host besides Hostgator for cheap web hosting. I cannot really tell youp much about other hosting services, but I can tell you that my experiences has given Hostgator a customer for life.
